The Retreat Port Stephens is a unique tourism development, backing directly onto the largest living sand dune system in the Southern Hemisphere. Offering a venue with open space, fresh air and total privacy. We like to call it “Business in the Bush”. The Retreat is an ideal venue for functions and events either midweek or a weekend. Set on 4 acres in a bushland setting with the Stockton Sand dunes at our back fence.

The Retreat is located in Anna Bay with the local shops just a 2 minute drive. We are central to all the activities and attractions that Port Stephens has to offer, but with the secluded and peaceful nature setting of the bush. We can also assist with the planning of your itinerary and book local attractions and facilities. Onsite activities are available as well as all the local offsite activities are within a 10 minute travel time. Our wonderful catering team is available for all your meal requirements to suit all budgets.

The Retreat offers a function, meeting or conference venue very different from the usual. Surrounded by bushland offering a very private, safe and quiet location The Retreat is a relaxed and peaceful venue. Whether you are looking for just a day hire, midweek conference, team building getaway, weekend bonding holiday, incentives trip or product launch The Retreat can offer a facility for the occasion.

The Retreat’s buildings are all self-contained with private kitchens, bathrooms, open plan lounge and dining areas. For functions and events we have a great catering team that can cater for whole or part of your stay – whatever works best for your group.
