Welcome to Verde Restaurant + Bar, situated in picturesque Stanley Street, East Sydney’s iconic “little Italy”.

Verde is a unique and truly special combination of fine dining and home-style southern Italian influence, led by owner and head chef Antonio Ruggerino. The restaurant boasts an authentic Calabrian ambiance, reinforced by Antonio’s desire to serve family recipes that have survived generations with very slight changes.

Our Restaurant is housed in a stunning, heritage-listed building in the heart of Sydney’s ‘Little Italy’. Featuring dining rooms on both the ground and first floors, we pride ourselves on providing home-style Southern Italian cuisine, impeccable service and a warm and welcoming environment.

The first floor is host to five separate event areas – the Upstairs Dining Room, Verde Private Dining Room, Private Booth and The Totò Private Dining Room. All upstairs rooms are equipped with audiovisual facilities allowing for iPod connectivity, DJs, plasma screens and microphones.

The Lounge Bar is perfect for cocktail and canapé-style events and caters for up to 80 people. Wide choices of specialty dishes are available, and we can tailor a special menu to suit your style of event. We can also accommodate up to 46 people for a sit down intimate dinner.

The Private Dining Room is a unique and elegant space. It offers the opportunity to enjoy a family celebration, a boardroom lunch or an intimate gathering. Accommodating up to 18 people in a beautiful a la carte setting, the room can also be transformed into an intimate lounge room for up to 20 people for a canapé or banquet style function.
