Located right in the heart of Tamworth, the Capitol Theatre is Tamworth's newest performance venue. Situated in the Entertainment Quarter of Centre point Shopping Centre, on Level 1, the Capitol Theatre shares its foyer and bar with the Forum6 Cinema.

The Theatre is a 402 seat purpose built proscenium arch theatre available for hire. Capitol Theatre Tamworth is a proud initiative of Tamworth Regional Council and the venue is managed and operated by the Entertainment Venues Division of Council.

A purpose built proscenium arch theatre boasting a raked auditorium, hydraulic orchestra pit lift, automated winch flying system and professionally equipped house sound, AV and lighting systems. In addition to theatre or concert hire, the Capitol is equipped to cater for conferences, speakers and product launches and is the perfect comfortable and intimate venue for such events.
