Proclaim is Rosman Cruises only vessel which was not originally built solely for transport purposes. This vessel has always operated as a charter boat and is fitted with booth seating and a dancefloor downstairs as well as table seating and a catering galley upstairs. History Proclaim was built in 1939 by the well-known boat builders Morrison and Sinclair at Longnose Point, Birchgrove in Sydney Harbour. The ferry’s first engagement was carrying spectators at the Australia Day Sydney Harbour Regatta on 26 January 1940.

Royale has a large open area on the main deck, which can be easily adapted to your requirements. Thinking of a onboard ceremony, a floating concert or dance party? This is the vessel for you. Royale was built for Charles Rosman and launched in 1974. From time to time over many years Rosman Cruises have been called on to support Sydney Ferries and for a variety of reasons.

Radar is Rosman Cruises largest BYO only vessel. For those with a large guestlist and limited budget, this boat is perfect for birthday parties, celebratory drinks for weddings, fundraisers and various other social events. Radar was built following World War II and is the senior member of the Rosman fleet. It remained in continuous service with Charles Rosman for over 60 years until it was bought by Frank and Steve Matthews.

Regal II is the perfect vessel for a sightseeing cruise. The open air top deck allows you to see the best of Sydney’s famous icons and beautiful Harbour. Regal II is the youngest vessel in the fleet and was launched by Charles Rosman in 1981.Unlike the other Rosman vessels, passengers have access to the upper deck for an improved view of the surrounding harbour. For many years Regal II was used for the Lane Cove River Ferry Run.

Cruising on Lithgow offers a greater level of intimacy and cosy atmosphere. Our smallest ship, it is very popular for school excursions and transportation but it can also be a perfect venue to celebrate with a small group of friends and family. Built in 1927, Lithgow is the smallest and oldest in the Rosman fleet. During World War II it is understood Lithgow was used to tow the military 45 foot tug boat hulls built in the area out of Brisbane Waters before another tow took over for the sea voyage to Sydney for fit out. Lithgow has carried the Australian of the Year into Darling Harbour for many years including 2013
