ABSTRACTS SUBMISSION INFORMATION

The ANZCNS welcomes abstract submissions for its 12th Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) 4-6 September 2024, which will be held in-person only at the Heritage Queenstown Hotel, New Zealand.

Types of Presentations
Platform (Oral) Presentation - If your abstract is accepted as a platform presentation you will be allocated a session (time to be advised) within the program.

Poster Presentation - If your abstract is accepted as a poster, you will be required to produce a poster which follows the poster guidelines.

Format for Abstracts
Abstracts are to be provided in English only.

The body of the abstract should be structured with Background, Methods, Results and Conclusions and not exceed 250 words (excluding the title).

Abbreviations should be defined where first mentioned. Spelling and grammar should be carefully checked.

Abstracts without results to support conclusions, for example abstracts with terms such as “results will be discussed”, will not be accepted.

Abstracts will be published as submitted without any modification.

Abstracts Conditions
Abstracts will not be accepted if they have been previously published as a full paper, or if they have been presented elsewhere more than one year before the meeting date.

A condition of acceptance is that at least one author presents the work. Non-authors can not present. Presenting author(s) must register to attend the ASM, and are responsible for their own registration and/or travel expenses.

Industry Sponsored/Promoted Abstracts
These abstracts should NOT be submitted via the submission portal but emailed directly to anzcns_asm@seedevents.com.au for committee's review.

Submission Details
Abstracts can only be submitted via online submission portal. Complete the online submission form, and cut-paste your abstract in the text boxes provided. If the submission was successful, you will receive an automatic acknowledgement of the receipt of your abstract.

If you wish to make changes to your abstract you can do so until midnight (AEST) on MONDAY, 13th MAY 2024. After this date you will be unable to gain access.

Abstract Notifications
All abstracts submitted are subject to review and scoring by the Abstract Review Committee and will, subject to acceptance, be assigned to a platform or poster presentation.

The reviewing committee reserves the right to contact authors, if required to clarify the nature of intended presentations prior to making decisions regarding their acceptance.

Notifications will be sent via e-mail to submitting author only by late MAY 2024.
