VENUE AND ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation for the pre-conference will be at the venue Rangiaowhia Marae, Te Wānanga o Aotearoa, Raroera Campus. Please note, if you are travelling with family and wanting to stay in the Marae accommodation, we ask that all adults with you, are required to also register for the conference (children under 12years of age are free).

If you would like accommodation at the marae please note that bedding and towels are not provided and must be brought with you. Please indicate in your registration if you would like marae accommodation.

Marae accommodation is communal, so everyone sleeps within the wharenui (like a large hall) on mattresses provided. Bathrooms (one men's and one women's) and dining are all communal spaces. There are no separate sleeping quarters.

If you would prefer more private accommodation and are staying for the NAISA conference, I would suggest booking a hotel or motel through their site here:

There are a number of accommodation options available, that can be booked directly (these costs are not included in your registration fees).
