How do I pay?
State School staff pay with their school’s corporate card.
Department of Education central and regional office staff should not pay with a corporate credit card. A journal transfer will be processed for registration fees. Departmental corporate/regional office staff will need to include their cost centre or internal order number during registration.

When is payment required?
Payment must be made at the time of registration (except Department of Education central and regional office staff). Bookings cannot be accepted nor processed without payment. Please ensure approval is given to attend the event and that payment can be made at the time of booking.

Do I still have to pay the full amount if I only attend one day?
Yes. There are no partial payment options. The conference fee is for the two days and Networking Dinner.

Do I still have to pay the full amount if I am not attending the Networking Dinner?
Yes. The Networking Dinner is included in the conference fee. The dinner provides a unique opportunity to network and socialise in a relaxed environment so conference attendees are encouraged to attend.

Is there a dress code for the dinner?
Dinner guests are welcome to opt for smart casual, or semi cocktail.

Can I attend one day and a colleague another day?
No. The registration is for one staff member only and is not transferable.

When is the deadline for registering for the conference?
The deadline for registering is 18 June 2018.

Can I get a refund if I am not able to attend?
The deadline for refunding of conference fees due to unforeseen circumstances will be 11 June. Cancellations made after this date will incur the full conference registration cost.

I am not a Department of Education employee, can I still attend?
The Indigenous Education Conference is targeted towards Department of Education state school staff and, therefore, as spaces are limited they have priority to attend. If you are not a departmental staff member and would like to attend, please email requesting attendance. Make sure to include the organisation that you work for and your reason for wanting to attend.

Once I have registered for a break-out session, can I change my mind?
Conference attendees are strongly encouraged to consider their preferred breakout sessions before registering. However, if you wish to change your session you can do so up until 11 June as long as spaces are still available in your desired session. This can be done by logging in using the details you provided at the time of registration.
