Registration does not include insurance of any kind. Therefore if you are unable to attend or if the meeting is cancelled due to force majeure you should protect yourself from loss with travel insurance.

It is strongly recommended that all delegates take out their own travel and medical insurance prior coming to the Conference.

The policy should include loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the meeting, or through cancellation of the meeting itself, loss of airfares for any reason, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property, additional expense and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered.

Neither the Conference Secretariat Meeting Makers Pty Ltd, the Scientific Program Committee nor The Human Genome Variation Society will take any responsibility for any participant failing to insure.

CANCELLATIONS POLICY

Cancellation of Registrations received up to 31st March 2017 will be eligible for a full refund, less a US$20 Administration Fee.

Cancellations of Registrations received after 31st March 2017 will be 100% NON-REFUNDABLE.

You may TRANSFER your registration to another person provided sufficient time is allowed and at least 2 days before the conference.
