Overlooking the majestic Derwent River and Constitution Deck, Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart is the home of the Hobart Convention and Exhibition Centre (HCEC), Hobart’s largest conference venue. It is just a short walk away from popular attractions such as Salamanca Place, The Markets, Battery Point, the MONA Ferry and the CBD. Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart offers premier facilities, where guests can work out in the state-of-the-art fitness club or indulge in a skyline swim with views of Mount Wellington in the indoor pool. The spacious guest rooms at the Grand Chancellor are styled with Tasmanian timbers, polished granite and contemporary furnishings. Each room has panoramic views of the harbour or Mount Wellington.

Early and Late Check-in

The check-in and out times for your hotel will be displayed on your confirmation letter. If you wish to be guaranteed earlier access to your room, you will need to make your booking from the night before.

Please indicate if you will be arriving at your hotel after 6.00pm. Failure to do so may mean your room will be released.

Change or cancellation of Booking

Due to the nature of group bookings any booking changes or cancellations must be made in writing to Seed Events and NOT directly to the hotel.

Sitting alongside Hobart's waterfront, the historic Henry Jones Art Hotel offers luxurious rooms offering water or courtyard views. The hotel is set in a row of renovated 1820s warehouses and a former IXL jam factory. It offers a bar and boasts a variety of original artworks throughout the property. Henry Jones Art Hotel is situated beside Victoria Dock, offering views of Mount Wellington and Fisherman's Wharf. This hotel is also the venue for the Meeting Dinner.
