About the Principals' Conference
The conference - generally held in late February, early March every two years - brings together all Queensland state school principals and senior state education leaders to discuss and plan the future of state schooling in Queensland.
This event enables extensive networking between principals, regional directors, education stakeholders and conference partners over a two-day period.
The conference typically features keynote and guest speakers ranging from academics to media personalities and includes plenary sessions and group discussions, as well as a networking function for delegates.
Considered a major event on the Queensland education calendar, the conference attracts the support of the Premier of Queensland, the Minister for Education and the Director-General, Department of Education and Training.
