If you would like to stay nights before or after the event and they are showing as not available, please ask the Event Manager as these are on request to the hotels before you make a payment.

If you are sharing a room with another delegate, only one of you needs to book the room. Please indicate the name of the delegate you are sharing with in the comments field.

If you require an extra bed, the hotels charge a fee as shown, please contact the Event Manager to add the extra person to the booking before you make a payment.

Hotel Jen Puteri Harbour

*Tourism Tax

Effective 1 September 2017, the Federal Government has implemented a mandatory "Tourism Tax" of MYR 10.00, per-room, per-night, for all foreign passport holders. This amount is to be collected by the hotel, on behalf of the government, upon check-out. All Malaysian Nationals and Permanent Residents are exempt.

TRANSFERS

The hotels we have arranged are the best options in the area as there is nothing suitable closer to NUMed. They are also in a better location for evening entertainment, shopping etc.

It is easy and cheap to take a taxi from the hotel to NUMed and return. The cost is approximately 15 - 20 RM (AUD & Sing. $5 - $7, Euro 3 - 4.5). Taking a taxi is more flexible than scheduled busses (which would cost more to hire) and you can also taxi share with other delegates. The Event Manager Rania took a taxi from Hotel Jen Puteri Harbour to NUMed and the journey was around 5-7 minutes only.

Puteri Harbour where Hotel Jen is located has a nice resort atmosphere overlooking the marina. There are numerous cafes and restaurants as well as shops to keep you entertained after a long day at the Course.

Hotel Granada Johor Bahru

Hotel Granada Johor Bahru is situated in the centre of town surrounded by shops, restaurants and bus stop. All you could need. There is free parking available for those who need it.
